What effect can you achieve?

There are numerous studies showing that better health leads to better or more effective organizations.

The latest study we looked at shows that a (1) step improvement in health resulted in a 12 or 20% increase in productivity, measured as sales.

The sales that increased by 12% were simpler sales such as order reception. The 20% improvement was demonstrated in more complex sales involving configuring the customer’s solution with simple quotation writing.

The researchers also looked at the stock performance of companies with better health. In the graph below, the researchers have selected 100 companies with high health (well-being score) and compared their stock performance with the NASAQ 100, S&P 500, and Dow Jones.

Between January 2021 and January 2023, the 100 selected companies outperform all indices!

The researchers also compared the companies with return on assets and profit, as you can see in the graph below.

It appears to be a strong correlation, doesn’t it? But the researchers claim that this is a causal relationship.

There are three legal requirements for you as an employer to promote psychosocial health

Whistleblower Act

Private employers with at least 250 employees and public employers with at least 50 employees must have a whistleblower system. This system involves a reporting channel where an independent actor must receive anonymous comments about general misconduct in the workplace.
